This privacy policy explains what personal information Krinkie’s Heating, Air Conditioning & Plumbing (“Krinkie’s,” “we,” “us”) collects through krinkies.com, by phone and by email, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to the service requests you send us. Work we do in your home is also covered by the estimate, invoice or agreement you receive for that job.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Service request forms: your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, the system you need help with, the type of service, how soon you need it, any offer code and the message you write.
- Job applications: your name, phone number, email address, the position you want, your resume and anything else you choose to tell us.
- Calls, emails and visits: what you tell our office and technicians, your service address, details about your equipment and your home, and the work we do.
- Payments and financing: payment details you give us to pay an invoice, and the information you submit if you choose to apply for financing.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) receives standard technical information that every browser sends, such as your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for and the time. It uses this to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
This website does not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies or tracking pixels, and it does not store personal information in your browser. If we add analytics later, we will update this policy first.
Content loaded from other companies
Some parts of the pages load directly from other companies’ servers. When your browser loads them, those companies receive your IP address and browser information under their own privacy policies:
- Google Fonts (the typefaces used on the site).
- Google reviews — the reviews section can show reviews and reviewer profile photos from our Google Business Profile.
- OpenStreetMap map tiles on the service area map.
- Better Business Bureau (the BBB Accredited seal) and TrustedSite (the security badge).
Links to Facebook, Google Maps, the BBB, government agencies and manufacturers take you to sites we don’t control. Their privacy policies apply there.
How we use your information
- To respond to your request, schedule appointments, send technicians, and call, text or email you about your service.
- To prepare estimates, perform and document the work, send invoices and take payment.
- To register equipment warranties, pull permits and arrange inspections when your job needs them.
- To manage Krinkie’s Club memberships and remind you when maintenance is due.
- To review job applications.
- To keep the site secure, prevent fraud and spam, and meet our legal, tax and licensing obligations.
We will only send you marketing emails or text messages if you agree to receive them, and you can stop them at any time. Calls and messages about a service you asked for are not marketing.
When we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share it only:
- With companies that work for us, such as website hosting, form delivery, email, scheduling, payment processing and accounting providers. They may use it only to provide their service to us.
- With equipment manufacturers to register warranties, and with a lender if you choose to apply for financing.
- With cities, counties, the State of Minnesota or utilities when a permit, inspection or rebate for your job requires it.
- When the law requires it, to protect people’s safety, or to protect our rights.
- As part of a sale or merger of our business, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.
How long we keep information
We keep service records for as long as you are a customer and for as long as warranty, tax, licensing and other legal record-keeping rules require. We keep job applications for as long as employment law requires. When we no longer need information, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.
How we protect information
The site is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and we limit access to customer information to the staff and providers who need it to do their work. No system is completely secure. If you think your information has been misused, contact us right away.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- Confirm whether we have personal information about you, and give you a copy of it.
- Correct information that is wrong.
- Delete your information, except for records we must keep by law or to honor a warranty.
- Stop sending you marketing messages.
- Tell you which third parties we have shared your information with.
Minnesota residents may have additional rights under the Minnesota Consumer Data Privacy Act (Minnesota Statutes, sections 325M.10 to 325M.21), to the extent that law applies to us. We will respond to a request within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you why within those 45 days, and we may take up to 45 more days. If we turn down your request, we will explain why, and you may appeal by replying to our answer. If you are not satisfied with the result of your appeal, you may file a complaint with the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office.

Children
This website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
